Aero Technologies - ATC30600 PT-19 EP ARF
The PT-19 was one of the finest military trainer aircraft of the 20th century. Developed by Fairchild in1938- it first saw service in 1940. Prior to this time- most military air training was still being done in biplanes that tended to be a little more gentle than the high performance mono wing airplanes of the modern mlitary. The PT-19 more closely resembled the flying characteristics of fighter airplanes that the new pilots were expected to master. It was highly aerobatic- yet easy to fly. The PT-19 ARF delivers all this and more. Specially chosen woods are hand selcted for their lightness and strength for every part of this model. CAD engineered for accuracy- all parts are CNC machined to extremely close tolerances. Parts are jig assembled for trueness and accurate alignment and fit- then expertly covered in genuine- premium UltraCote? polyester covering material for an outstanding finish. A prepainted fiberglass cowl and molded cockpit insert with windscreens round out the PT-19 as well as a complete hardware package and illustrated assembly manual. Building the PT-19 is a breeze. Using our exclusive NexGen ARF? technology- there is no gluing used to assemble this model. All the hard work has been done for you. The aileron surfaces are pre-hinged and glued into place- the stabilizer and elevator are attached to the fuselage- even the multi-colored rudder is attached to the fin. Just drop in your favorite micro radio and brushless motor- bolt on the scale-like two piece wing and landing gear and go fly. It's just that simple. Flying the PT-19 ARF is simple too. With a generous wing area and Boeing 16 airfoil- the PT-19 soars through the air like a homesick dove. It's the perfect second airplane after you've learned the basics with your trainer. Sure- responsive flights time after time are yours to have. And when you're done- the PT-19 fits easily back into just about any car for the ride home.
